1. Information We Collect

We currently collect the following categories of data:

  • Account data: your email address, Supabase auth identifier, role/status, and account timestamps.
  • User submissions: review ratings, optional review text, review tags, church change requests, and moderation outcomes.
  • Church metadata: church profile/contact fields and geocoded address data used for map/search features.
  • Operational records: transactional email queue entries and basic server-side request/auth logs.
  • Analytics data: website usage events through Google Analytics.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate the Service, authenticate users, process and moderate submissions, send account/notification emails, prevent abuse, maintain system security, and understand product usage so we can improve the platform.

3. Service Providers and Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with vendors only as needed to run the app, including Supabase (authentication/data platform), Google Analytics (usage measurement), Google Gemini API (review text moderation workflow), Mapbox (address geocoding for church records), and SMTP/email infrastructure for transactional messages.

4. Public vs. Private Data

Church pages and published reviews are public. Your account email is not displayed publicly by the current UI. Keep in mind that anything you include in review text may be publicly visible if published.

5. Data Retention

We retain data while needed for product operation, moderation history, security, and legal compliance. In the current implementation, deleting your account removes your Supabase Auth user and marks your app user record as DELETED, but prior reviews, change requests, and operational logs/outbox records may remain unless removal is legally required.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining control of your account credentials.

8. Your Choices

You can request account deletion from your account page and you can manage cookies in your browser settings. For privacy requests or questions, contact us using the email below.
